about the resource
Darts turns any dartboard on your server into a proper match. Players walk up to the cabinets already in the world, or to a board you have hung yourself, pick a game and throw: aim, release, and the dart sticks where it lands. 301, 501, solo Practice and Around the World all play out with busts, doubles and checkouts, and a directed camera follows the two players from the walk to the oche through to the finish.
Designed to work across standalone, QBCore, ESX, vRP and QBX servers, Darts settles scores, turns and cash pots on the server, saves placed boards without a database, and still lets everyone in the room see the darts fly.
resource features
- Play Any DartboardWalk up to the cabinet and board props already in vanilla interiors and MLOs. A world-space prompt, ox_target or qb-target opens the game, and boards are picked up as players move through the map.
- 301, 501, Practice and Around the WorldRace a double-out finish on 301 or 501, practise alone from a 301 or 501 start, or work the board from 1 to 20 and finish on the bull. Each mode can be switched off in the config.
- Pub Rules, Server ScoredSingles, doubles, trebles, the 25 and the bull are read from where the dart actually lands. The server checks every hit, so busts, checkouts and leg wins are settled there, across a first-to set of legs.
- Checkout HintsWhen a finish is on with the darts left in the visit, the thrower sees the usual route, such as T20 T19 D12. Around the World never shows one, and the hint can be turned off for players who want to work it out themselves.
- Aim, Focus and ThrowLine up on the reticule, nudge the aim, and hold Focus to steady the shot. Focus is a short budget for that visit, so it can be saved for a later dart or spent on one, and each hit plays the game's own dart sounds.
- Cinematic MatchesThe two players get an intro, a walk to the oche, a view of the opponent throwing, the pull from the board, and an end-of-match shot with a celebration. Each sequence can be switched off, and everyone else keeps their own camera.
- Collect Your DartsAfter three darts the thrower walks to the board, pulls them out, and walks back to the oche before the next visit starts.
- Match HUDRemaining score, the three darts of the visit, a turn clock and the Focus meter sit in a corner you choose, with the thrower's mugshot on the card and a recap of each dart and the visit total.
- Score CalloutsBig visits land as GTA-style panels: a 180, 140 and up, a ton, a bust, and a leg win. The titles and the score thresholds are set in the config.
- Lobby and ChallengesThe host picks the mode, the legs and the stake, then invites players nearby. They accept or decline from a card that shows the game, the legs and the stake, with mugshots on the lobby seats.
- Side BetsFriendly games, or a cash pot taken from cash or bank through ESX, QBCore, QBX or vRP. A forfeit can still pay the winner, a cancelled game refunds both players, solo modes never take money, and an optional Discord webhook logs the pot.
- Clocks and ForfeitsEach visit runs on a timer, and a match left idle can be forfeited. Leaving asks for confirmation and shows the stake and the pot before the player drops out.
- The Room Sees the MatchPlayers in range see the throw, hear the hit and watch the darts stick in the board, on their own camera. An optional spectator HUD can show them the scores as well.
- In-Game Board Creator/dartboard create hangs a ghost board on the wall you are aiming at, at playing height, until you place it. /dartboard remove takes a board you placed back down, and /binddartboard registers one that is already in the world. Map boards are left where they are.
- No Database RequiredPlaced boards save to a simple JSON file and come back after a restart, with no SQL setup or extra dependencies. The dartboard, the darts and the animations are already in the game, so nothing extra has to be streamed.
- Framework PermissionsPlaying is open to everyone. Creating, binding and removing boards can be limited to an ACE permission, or to ESX, QBCore and QBX jobs and vRP groups and permissions. Turn the check off and anyone can place a board.
- Native NotificationsUses your framework's notification style, including ESX, QBCore, QBX, vRP, okokNotify, TMC and ox_lib, with Darts' own toasts when none of those are enabled.
- Highly ConfigurableAdjust modes, double out, legs, cameras, callouts, wagers, timers, Focus, invite range, stream distance, HUD corners, targeting and permissions.
